100-Night Mattress Trial Refund Policy

We are 100% confident that you will love the mattress you purchased on ShopTherapedic.com. If for some reason you are unsatisfied with it after the first 100 nights, ShopTherapedic (the “Company”) provides a 100-Night Trial for the original purchase of any mattress through the ShopTherapedic website. The 100-Night Trial extends only to the original purchaser of a product who remains in possession of said product at the time of a claim under the warranty. In order to be sure you have given your body time to adjust to your new mattress, we ask that a refund request is made not less than thirty (30) days and not more than one hundred (100) days after delivery was made.

While the mattress may not be right for you, there are organizations and individuals who would benefit from a mattress offered by ShopTherapedic. So, rather than asking you to return the mattress to us, we ask you to donate it to a registered 501(c)(3) charity, where it can be used to benefit someone in your community.

The Company offers a one hundred (100) night trial policy, the scope of which is set out below. The Company does not accept returns of Services, including but not limited to mattresses, after delivery has been made. Refunds will be made on mattresses only, pursuant to the conditions in this paragraph; no refunds will be made for foundations/bases. No refunds will be issued for opened/used mattresses unless the following conditions are met: (a) the refund request is made not less than thirty (30) days after delivery was made and not more than one hundred (100) days after delivery was made; and (b) you provide proof to the Company that the mattress you purchased was donated to a registered 501(c)(3) charity; and (c) you provide the Company with the name and address of the 501(c)(3) to which the mattress you purchased was donated. 

If a refund is requested, per the conditions above, for a mattress with which a free product(s) was received, the product(s) must also be donated to a registered 501(c)(3) charity with proof provided in order for a full refund to be processed. If the customer would like to keep the free product(s), the retail price of the product(s), as listed on the website, will be deducted from the refund amount total. Products received as free gifts cannot be returned or exchanged – this includes but is not exclusive to pillows and sheet sets.

For the purposes of the Company’s return/refund policy, a 501(c)(3) charity shall mean an organization that has received exemption from the IRS under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Acceptable 501(c)(3) organizations include but are not limited to: the American National Red Cross; The Salvation Army; or Family Promise Inc. Additional 501(c)(3) organizations can be identified with the IRS at https://apps.irs.gov/app/eos/.

If the customer cannot find a 501(c)3 organization to donate the mattress to, ShopTherapedic will accept a donation to a local family via a religious organization or school. If a donation is made this way, the customer must submit a letter written by an administrator at the religious organization/school on letterhead to the Company outlining that the donation is being made. The family receiving the mattress does not need to be named.

In the event that a customer prefers to have ShopTherapedic arrange a pickup of the mattress or lives in a state where mattress donation is prohibited or challenging to arrange, ShopTherapedic will coordinate those arrangements at the cost of $75 - $175, depending upon size and location, deducted from the refund amount. Pickups are not available in Vermont and Wyoming.

The company reserves the right to investigate the circumstances surrounding each donation and refund request for opened/used mattresses and to make a determination in its sole discretion as to whether the donation and request are bona fide. No refunds will be issued for unopened mattresses unless the following conditions are met: (a) the mattress is in its original, unopened packaging and in the original box in which it was delivered; (b) the customer requesting a refund contacts the Company at 877-848-5753 to obtain a return authorization tag; and (c) the unopened mattress is shipped back to and received by the mattress manufacturer. Once the Company determines that the above conditions are met for the unopened mattress, the Company will process the refund minus the shipping costs incurred by the Company. 100-Night Trial Immunity Comfort Exchange Policy

The Comfort Exchange option applies to Immunity™ purchases only. Understanding that a different Immunity™ model might work better for you than the one you originally purchased online, Immunity™ mattresses are also eligible for a one-time Comfort Exchange. This applies to Immunity mattresses only, not AgilityBed mattresses.

We still ask that you sleep on your mattress for 30 days to allow your body time to adjust to your new bed. During the remaining nights of the 100-night trial, if you decide your new Immunity mattress isn't the right one for you, you have two options. You may initiate a comfort refund (see section above) or you may initiate a comfort exchange for a different model you believe would better suit your comfort preferences. You may choose one or the other method, not both.

To choose the comfort exchange option, take the following steps:

  • Notify us by email or by phone of your desire to initiate a comfort exchange and arrange to talk to an advisor to identify which model you would like as a replacement.
  • In order for your mattress to be eligible for exchange, the mattress must be free from stains, soiling or other damage and have been purchased on this website only.
  • Place an order for the replacement model of your choosing.
  • Make arrangements to donate your originally purchased mattress and provide us with proof of donation – see section above for details.
  • After receiving proof of donation, your refund will be initiated. Refunds will be calculated based on the lesser-priced mattress purchased minus the cost of shipping related of the replacement mattress.
  • Await the arrival of your new, and final, mattress choice.
    • The replacement mattress is considered a final sale and is not eligible for a refund or exchange.

Other comfort exchange terms:

  • Comfort exchange options only pertain to mattresses purchased on this website.
  • Only one exchange per household is permitted.

30-Night Pillow Trial Refund Policy

We are  confident that you will love the pillow(s) you purchased on ShopTherapedic.com. ShopTherapedic (the “Company”) provides a 30-Night Trial for the original purchase of any pillow through the ShopTherapedic website. The 30-Night Trial extends only to the original purchaser of a product who remains in possession of said product at the time of a claim for a return/refund.  The trial does not apply to any pillow(s) that may have been received as a free item as part of a promotion. Products received as free gifts cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded – this includes but is not exclusive to pillows and sheet sets.

For hygiene reasons, we are unable to take back used pillows.  However, if you are unsatisfied with the pillow you purchased, we will honor the 30-night trial by offering the option for you to donate the item(s) in order to receive a refund.  While the pillow may not be right for you, there are organizations and individuals who would benefit from a pillow offered by ShopTherapedic. So, rather than having you return the pillow to us, we ask you to donate it to a registered 501(c)(3) charity, where it can be used to benefit someone in your community.

Sateen Sheet Set Refund Policy

We are confident that you will love the sheet set(s) you purchased on ShopTherapedic.com. ShopTherapedic (the “Company”) provides a refund for any unopened and unused sheet set(s) purchased through the ShopTherapedic website only. The refund extends only to the original purchaser of a product who remains in possession of said product at the time of a claim for a return/refund.  The refund does not apply to any sheet set(s) that may have been received as a free item as part of a promotion. Products received as free gifts cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded – this includes but is not exclusive to pillows and sheet sets.

For hygiene reasons, we are unable to take back used, washed or out of package sheet sets.  No refunds will be issued for opened and/or used sheet set(s).
